Buchanan native Hannah Roberts qualifies for Olympics

BUDAPEST, Hungary (WNDU) - Buchanan native and silver medalist Hannah Roberts has officially secured her spot for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Roberts qualified by scoring first in the Women’s BMX Freestyle with 93.48 points.
“To come here and take the win is cool. I’m super pumped and I’ve got my ticket to Paris. I think the series is super cool,” Roberts said after punching her ticket for her second Olympics. “It’s a cool opportunity to solidify your spot early.”
Roberts won silver in freestyle BMX at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The Paris 2024 BMX freestyle competition will take place July 30 and July 31.
