22-year-old killed in Benton Township shooting

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WNDU) - A 22-year-old Benton Harbor man has died from his injuries in a shooting early Sunday morning in Benton Township.
Police were already in the area of Broadway and Emery Avenue for a large party with hundreds of people when they heard gunshots in a nearby field around 2 a.m.
They went to the field and found a 22-year-old Benton Harbor man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. He has not been identified at this time.
