Downtown South Bend celebrates all things Disney for March’s First Fridays

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Downtown South Bend transformed into a magical world of Disney Friday evening for First Fridays.

The theme was “Disney Downtown.” Disney characters were stationed at various businesses and restaurants throughout downtown.

The event featured Disney crafts, face painting and balloon art. The Cat Lady Cafe also hosted Disney karaoke.

“We try to make it as accessible as possible for families to come out and make memories in our downtown,” said Kylie Carter, senior director of marketing and events for DTSB. “These events are really magical, not even just the Disney ones with the Disney magic. But I think First Fridays, there’s a lot of magic every month.”

Next month’s First Fridays event will take place on April 4. The theme will be “Game On.”
