Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli says goodbye on social media
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli said goodbye to the Notre Dame community recently.
He will soon have a new team after he entered the transfer portal last week.
There are reports that he is visiting various schools, including Syracuse today.
Angeli was one of three quarterbacks competing for the starting job this year, but was recently told that the team wanted freshman C.J. Carr and sophomore Kenny Minchey to compete for that starting job in the fall. That news prompted Angeli to enter the transfer portal.
He is about to finish his junior year at Notre Dame. He will get his degree and will have two more years of eligibility to play quarterback somewhere.
This past weekend he said goodbye on social media.(BELOW)
