SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team is getting ready to start the ACC Tournament this weekend, and today the team picked up several conference awards for the regular season.

The headliners were Chris Kavanagh, who was the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, Shawn Lyght, who was the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and Matt Jeffery, who was named the ACC Freshman of the Year.

Those three were part of six All-ACC selections that the Irish had on the all-conference teams. Kavanagh and Lyght were joined by Will Donovan, Ben Ramsey, Thomas Ricciardelli and Jake Taylor.

The Irish have now had 20 All-ACC selections in the past three seasons, which is the most of any team in the conference.
